Junior Church takes place on selective Sundays at St. Mary's Church for children aged two and a half years upwards.  It is led by a team of teachers and helpers who take turns to prepare lessons and activities appropriate to the age of the children.

The Junior Church consists of three groups:

• Children two and a half to five years
• Children six to eight years
• Children nine years upwards

The children are in Church with their parents for the start of the service then they go over to the Church Hall for their lessons before returning to Church in time to join in the Lord's Prayer and to go up to the altar to receive blessing alongside their parents when they take Communion.

At Easter, Harvest and Christmas the children make displays for the Church and at other times throughout the year, 'extra' activities are arranged e.g. making craft items for the Church Bazaar.
