You can observe Good Friday by joining the Churches’ walk of witness through the town. This begins at 10.00am at the green footbridge over the river, proceeds up The Bank to the Parish Church car park and then moves through town to Scar Top.
Later in the day (2.00pm) the ‘Last Hour’ is kept in church with the Good Friday Liturgy: a reflective series of readings, hymns and prayers
