If you weren’t able to get to the “Windows to the World” Festival you can get your fix of our heritage as St Mary’s Barnard Castle opens up for Heritage Opens Days on Saturday 11th September.
Music, tower tours, guided tours of the church and stained-glass activities will again be on offer.
10.00am – 11.15am community orchestra rehearses in church: you can sit in on the rehearsal
11.00am and 2.00pm tours of the ringing chamber and clock room
11.45am and 2.45pm informal church tours
Between 1.00pm and 3.30pm there will be a simple activity for children based on our stained glass windows
Just come along, no booking required.
