Every year we use the season of Lent to learn better how to follow Jesus. This year we will be using a course written by Revd Gayle Greenway for the organisation Church Action on Poverty. The course draws on scenes from the film ‘I, Daniel Blake’.
The courses aims include:
a) Helping churches to open up the topic of local poverty
b) Equipping churches to pray more meaningfully about poverty within the community
c) Enabling churches to take their place in serving those who find themselves in situations of poverty
