St Mary's offers opportunities for families with children to celebrate their faith and God's love for them.
During 2023 we will be meeting every month (except August) to celebrate God’s love with younger families, and linking our gatherings to the Faith at Home materials prepared by the Church of England.
Our activities will be monthly, not always in church (sometimes we will be outside!) and we will meet not always solely for worship. You are warmly invited to join our Facebook page where more details and events are posted – just look for “All Ages Worship Together at St Mary’s Barnard Castle”

St Mary’s is able to offer materials for children’s activities during church services. Books, paper and drawing packs are available on the trolley as you come into church, and activity sheets can be provided for each Sunday’s 10.30am service.
For children attending regularly, we also offer two ‘Junior Church’ sessions each month, held in St Margaret’s Chapel in the North Aisle during the 10.30am Sunday morning service.
Sessions will run on September 3rd and 17th and October 1st and 22ndth.
