Community Music Festival

Mon 13th June - Sun 10th July

Celebrating music in Teesdale

In 2017 St. Mary’s Parish Church in Barnard Castle organised a community music festival built around schools, local groups and the community choir and orchestra that the church sponsors. This year’s festival embraces even more music makers in Teesdale and offers you the opportunity both to appreciate the wide range of music making in the dale but also to get involved in music making yourself. Whatever your preference in music – rock, folk, spiritual, swing, classical, vocal or instrumental – we hope you’ll enjoy this our Second Community Music Festival.
